WCSO Detention Center Receives Recertification as a TCI Tier One facility
We are proud to announce that the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center has once again earned TCI Tier One certification for 2025! This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Detention staff, whose commitment to excellence ensures we uphold the highest standards. A huge thank you to Jasper Driskill, our Accreditation and Compliance Lieutenant, for his dedication and hard work—your efforts do not go unnoticed!
The Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI) provides a voluntary accreditation program designed to enhance standards in local correctional facilities across Tennessee. The program consists of two tiers, each containing 25 standards—including five mandatory and 20 optional standards. To earn accreditation, facilities must meet all five mandatory standards and at least 17 optional standards for their selected tier. TCI inspection staff assess compliance, and the TCI Board of Control grants final accreditation. This program is designed to support jails in improving rehabilitation and reintegration efforts, ensuring safer and more effective correctional practices.
