Dear Prospective Explorer,
We are happy to have you participating in the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Explorer program. There are certain precautions that we as a public service department must take in order for you to participate fully in this program. We must be sure that you and your parents understand that this department cannot be responsible in any way should you be injured while participating in this program. We do not anticipate any Explorer being injured, however due to the nature of police work, we must follow this procedure. We have a lot of things planned, and we are looking forward to working with you.
We would appreciate it if you would return this application as soon as possible. It is necessary to have your parent’s approval to participate in this program as well.
Sincerely,
Stephen Shaver/WCSD Post Advisor
