Sheriff Jeff Hughes

Sheriff Jeff Hughes leads the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office with nearly 40 years of professional law enforcement service. He completed his undergraduate degree at Middle Tennessee State University in Criminal Justice. He is also a graduate of the Southeastern Command and Leadership Academy at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

Chief Deputy Mark Elrod has dedicated his career to law enforcement, beginning at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in 1998. Over the past 24 years, he has worked his way up the ranks before being appointed Chief Deputy under Sheriff Dusty Rhoades, where he continues to serve the citizens of Williamson County today.
