Stolen Chainsaw Case — Your Tip Could Be the Final Cut
At around 3:00 a.m. on April 29, 2025, someone on Pinewood Road, just outside Franklin, decided to “branch out” into the wrong line of work. This thief made off with two Stihl 500i chainsaws, each worth about $1,700, and we’d like to get them back to the owner.
The photos are a little blurry, not quite “Bigfoot caught on a flip phone” bad, but maybe you’ll recognize the “unusual” stride, shoes, clothing, or something else that make this guy stand out.
If you recognize the person in these photos or know where the saws ended up, email Detective David Reiman at David.Reiman@williamsoncounty-tn.gov or call Crime Stoppers of Williamnson County at 615-794-4000 or scan the QR Code in the photo.
Together we can take this thief down — Timber! (I know… I just can’t stop.)
