Sheriff Hughes Presents Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship
Congratulations to Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship recipient Lazuras Easterling.
The Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association continues to invest in the future by offering scholarships to Sheriff’s Office employees and their children across the state. Applicants are carefully reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, with final selections approved by the TSA Board of Directors.
Today, Sheriff Jeff Hughes had the honor of presenting Lazurus with his scholarship certificate.
Lazurus is the grandson of longtime Williamson County Sheriff’s Office employee Kelly Easterling and her husband, Dwayne. He will attend Middle Tennessee State University this fall, where he plans to pursue a career as an audio engineer.
It’s always a good day when we get to recognize the next generation and see hard work pay off. Congratulations, Lazurus, we’re proud of you. #WCSOTN
