A scam attempt is being circulated where a caller claiming to be Deputy Matthew Campbell is contacting citizens demanding payment over the phone to “help” the call receiver avoid being arrested for missing jury duty or for allegedly committing another crime. THIS IS A SCAM. No one from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will ever call to demand payment from a citizen.
