We extend our deepest condolences to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office and the loved ones of Deputy Justin Mowery, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on Sunday afternoon.

Deputy Mowery, just 30 years old, was serving his community when his life was taken in a patrol car crash. His commitment to duty and service will not be forgotten.

Our hearts are with Deputy Mowery’s family, friends, and fellow deputies, and with Sheriff James Lee Berrong and the entire Blount County law enforcement family during this incredibly difficult time. We honor his sacrifice and stand with you in mourning.
