Mark your calendar. The next Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Williamson County Administrative Complex, 1320 West Main Street in Franklin.
This is your chance to safely get rid of those items you should not be tossing in the trash or pouring down the drain. Paint, chemicals, cleaners, batteries, and other hazardous materials can all be dropped off for proper disposal.
These events are sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and are open to any Tennessee resident. You are not limited to your county, and you can even bring items from multiple households.
Take advantage of this opportunity to clean out your garage, shed, or under the sink, and do it the right way.
