Hands Free Operation Results
On Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Franklin Police Department, conducted a joint operation targeting distracted driving, speeding, and aggressive driving along the I65 corridor.
Operation Highlights:
Traffic Stops: 118
Violations Issued:
- 79 for Hands-Free Law violations
- 3 for Speeding
- 1 for Seat Belt
- 4 for Insurance Law
- 16 for other violations
- 4 Warning Tickets
- 1 Drug Arrest
- 6 for Driving with a Revoked/Suspended License or No Driver’s License
