As our little ones hit the streets for trick-or-treating, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone to stay safe and have fun! Here are a few safety tips to keep in mind:
🦸‍♂️For Trick-or-Treaters:
*Wear bright or reflective costumes so drivers can see you.
*Cross streets at corners using crosswalks and signals.
*Stay in groups and never go into a stranger’s home or vehicle.
*Use a flashlight or glow sticks to help you see and be seen.
🦸‍♀️For Drivers:
*Slow down and be extra alert in residential neighborhoods.
*Watch for excited kids who may dart out into the road.
*Turn on your headlights early to spot trick-or-treaters from a distance.
