Records Management
The Records Division of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, under the leadership of Records Administrator Tina Weatherby, is responsible for the management, security, and dissemination of all official departmental records. This division serves as the central repository for incident reports, crash reports, citations, warning documents, tow slips, and related law enforcement records.
The Records Division ensures that all information is processed in compliance with applicable state and federal laws, including the Tennessee Public Records Act and the Public Records Policy of Williamson County. The division is also responsible for fulfilling public records requests, conducting local background checks, and providing public fingerprinting services.
As a participant in the Tennessee Incident Based Reporting System (TIBRS), the Records Division supports statewide crime data collection and reporting by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of reportable incidents in accordance with TBI standards.
In 2022, the Records Division processed approximately 7,525 incident and miscellaneous reports—reflecting an 8% increase from the previous year—demonstrating the continued growth and demand on this vital support function within the Sheriff’s Office.
