CITIZENS’ ASSURANCE PROGRAMđź’™ A DAILY PHONE CALL. A FRIENDLY VOICE. PEACE OF MIND.
Do you know someone who lives alone and could benefit from a friendly daily check-in?
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Citizens’ Assurance Program (CAP) provides daily phone calls to Williamson County residents who live alone and would appreciate the reassurance of regular contact.
📞 How does it work?
CAP volunteers call participants every morning between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. to check on their well-being and offer a friendly connection.
Participants also have access to a dedicated answering machine to let volunteers know when they won’t be available for their scheduled call.
đź’™ KNOW SOMEONE WHO COULD BENEFIT?
Whether it’s a parent, grandparent, neighbor or friend, a simple daily phone call can make a meaningful difference.
🤝 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We’re also looking for caring, dependable community members who would like to make a difference by volunteering with CAP!
Volunteers must complete an application and a one-hour training session. Email and Excel skills are required, and a background check may be conducted.
A little of your time could mean a lot to someone else. Help us spread the word by sharing this post with someone who could benefit from the program or who might enjoy volunteering!
