🚨 COMMUNITY ALERT – SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is following up on a suspicious incident reported this morning near the Waters Edge and St. Marlo communities, located behind the Williamson County Ag Center.
At approximately 8 a.m., a student waiting at a bus stop reported that an individual stopped and asked if the student wanted a ride.
The individual was reported to be driving a:
• White Ford Fiesta
As a precaution, residents may notice an increased law enforcement presence in the Waters Edge, St. Marlo, and surrounding areas this evening and again tomorrow morning, particularly during school transportation hours.
We encourage parents to remind students to remain aware of their surroundings, never accept rides from someone they do not know or have permission to ride with, and report anything that makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
The Sheriff’s Office is following up on the reported incident and will provide additional information if necessary.
