When you’re out shopping:

• Lock your doors every single time, even if you’re “just running in for a minute.” Thieves love those minutes.

• Keep valuables, handbags, and shopping bags out of sight. A clean car interior is a boring target, and boring is exactly what we want.

• Park in well-lit areas when possible.

• Stay aware of your surroundings, especially when walking to and from your vehicle.

When packages start piling up:

• Track deliveries and bring them inside promptly. Porch pirates watch neighborhoods this time of year, and they’re not exactly known for holiday cheer.

• Consider sending packages to a trusted neighbor, a workplace, or an Amazon/UPS/USPS pickup location if you won’t be home.

• Install a doorbell camera or ensure yours is working properly. Criminals prefer not to be caught on camera, especially in HD.

• If you see suspicious vehicles or someone following delivery trucks, call us. Your instincts matter.
