NOW HIRING – WCSO Court Services Deputy
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Fully Deputized/Sworn P.O.S.T. Certified Deputy to join our Court Services Division.
Starting Pay: 💲32.30/hour
Shift Differential: +$0.86 (6PM–6AM)
Incentives: Education & experience pay available
Court Services Duties:
• Maintain security at the Williamson County Judicial Center, Historic Courthouse, Administrative Complex & Juvenile Court
• Oversee inmate transports to/from other agencies
• Serve criminal and civil warrants
Qualifications:
• Must be TN P.O.S.T. Certified OR P.O.S.T. in another state (transition school required)
• 18+ years old, U.S. citizen
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean criminal background
• Military service must have honorable discharge
• Must pass: fitness test, drug screen, psychological assessment, & polygraph
Training & Benefits:
• 5-week Detention Training Academy (weapons, tactics, medical, transport, and more)
• $500 annual uniform allowance + vest provided
• Overtime & advancement opportunities
• Open range days (ammo included)
• Paid bi-weekly
• Beards & tattoos allowed (within policy)
• Military drill pay: 20 days + options for additional time
