The Williamson County Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is back for its 13th year, and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is rolling up our sleeves to take the win — and yes, the Golden Arm Trophy is completely imaginary… but the bragging rights are 100% real.

This year, every unit of blood donated in our name not only puts us ahead of the other departments, it also triggers a $5 donation from Nabholz Construction to the Gary Sinise Foundation in honor of Deputy Robert Andrew Ryan, who devoted his life to serving others.

“Deputy Robert Andrew Ryan’s service had only just begun, yet his servant’s heart was clear to everyone who knew him. Let’s honor his legacy by showing up for our neighbors. On August 20, roll up a sleeve in Andrew’s name and help save a life,” said Sheriff Jeff Hughes.
